Old Mrs Li looks at the past because she wants to remember the good times she had with Mr. Lee when he was a child, telling him not to forget his father.Why does Mr Li’s mother remember the past while he does not so he tries to put himself in her shoes, and slowly recalls, did he really take long walks with his mother in the past? Remembering the past is good but if the death of a loved one makes the pain unbearable it is better to slowly forget and move into the future.
